Wingletang is a beautiful Grade 2 listed house located in the centre of Hugh Town, overlooking the park. Previously run as a guesthouse the new owners have made some minor changes to make it a comfortable self-catering property. They are planning a major refurbishment, which they hope will be completed during the winter of 2023. With 8 bedrooms sleeping up to 14 people, it is ideally suited to large family gatherings or several families sharing.

Perfectly located for island hopping and all of the amenities of town, it is just a moments’ walk to Porthcressa beach.

The property comprises a downstairs living/dining room, snug lounge, fitted kitchen, wc and a small patio garden.

Upstairs, there are 2 zip link bedrooms (which can be either twins or super king beds), 2 doubles, 1 bunk room and 3 singles. The attic room has an additional single bed. Please note that 1 single and the bunk room share a shower room whilst all other rooms are ensuite.

Please note that whilst we don't accept dogs in any of our properties, the owners sometimes bring their own dog to Wingletang.

Wingletang is a beautiful Grade 2 listed granite Scillonian cottage in the centre of Hugh Town, St Mary’s. Recently run as a guest house, the new owners of Wingletang have made some minor changes to make it comfortable as a self catering property, and have a full scheme of renovation planned for the winter of 2023.

Wingletang is ideally placed for all the amenities of the town, and for the quay to take trips to the other islands. The nearest beach is Porthcressa which is only 2 minutes’ walk away.

Downstairs there is a large kitchen with breakfast table, laundry room, a large dining/living room with a table to seat up to 12, a cosy snug and a downstairs toilet. There is also a small patio garden.

The house sleeps 10-14 people in 8 bedrooms, named after local features of Scilly which you might recognise.

As you will see from the floorplan, there is a small self-contained apartment at the back of the house, marked on the floorplan as ‘Owners Lounge’ and ‘Owners Bedroom’.
