The cottage is close to all the Old Town amenities including the well stocked local shop, Old Town Inn, several cafes, galleries and pottery.
Scilly’s tiny "capital", Hugh Town, is just a 15-minute walk away, from where you can catch a tripper boat to explore the beautiful off-islands, or perhaps cruise the Eastern Isles or Western Rocks in search of puffins, seals and other sea life.
On the ground floor is a well-furnished living area with beamed ceiling, having flat screen TV with DVD/CD player, iPod dock and radio. The kitchen area is fully fitted in "Shaker" style, with solid beech worktops, having fitted fan oven & grill, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer and microwave oven. Upstairs you will find a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, heated towel rail, hair dryer and radio alarm.
Unfortunately, the cottage does not have a garden, but why not do as the locals do and take your cup of coffee or glass of wine out onto the slipway of Old Town Beach, just a few yards away, and watch the sun go down.
All bed linen and towels are provided, with the exception of beach towels. The cottage does not accommodate pets and is strictly non-smoking. Electricity, thermostatically-controlled central heating and Wi-Fi are included in the tariff. A 24-hour laundry service is available at additional charge.
The cottage is available for Tuesda check-in during the main holiday season, flexible out-of-season, from 1.00 pm. Check out 9.30 am.
